1. Purpose & Nature of the Platform

SKYN is an online entertainment platform offering virtual item discovery experiences inspired by the CS2 universe. The platform operates as a skill-based entertainment service where users open virtual cases to receive randomised virtual items.

All items, credits, and balances on SKYN are purely virtual and exist solely within the platform. They have no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn as cash, exchanged for real goods, or transferred outside the platform.

2. Eligibility & Age Restriction

Access to SKYN is strictly reserved for individuals who:

• Are at least 18 years of age at the time of registration
• Are legally permitted to access gaming entertainment services in their jurisdiction
• Are not accessing the platform from a prohibited territory
• Are acting on their own behalf and not as an agent for a third party

By creating an account or continuing to use SKYN you represent and warrant that you satisfy all eligibility requirements above. SKYN reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend accounts pending verification.

3. Virtual Credits & Non-Refundability

Credits purchased or awarded on SKYN are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Voluntary account closure
• Account suspension or termination for breach of these terms
• Unused credits remaining at any point
• Technical issues or service interruptions not attributable to SKYN

Credits are not legal tender, currency, or property. They are a limited licence to access specific features of the platform and may be modified, adjusted, or revoked by SKYN at its sole discretion with or without prior notice.

4. Virtual Items

Items obtained through case openings, upgrades, or other platform mechanics are entirely virtual. SKYN grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use virtual items within the platform only.

Users acknowledge that:

• Virtual items have no real-world monetary value
• Drop rates are disclosed on each case page and determined by a certified random number generator
• Past results do not influence future outcomes
• Items cannot be sold, exchanged, or transferred for real money

5. Responsible Use

SKYN promotes responsible entertainment. If you feel your use of the platform is becoming compulsive or harmful, we encourage you to:

• Set personal spending limits
• Take breaks and review your activity history in the Transactions section
• Contact support to request a self-exclusion period
• Seek assistance from organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous or BeGambleAware

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or reverse-engineer any game mechanics
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or promotions
• Engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity in connection with the platform
• Allow minors to access their account

Breach of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all credits without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SKYN and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any loss of virtual credits or items resulting from technical failures beyond our reasonable control
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Interruptions to service due to maintenance, server failures, or third-party outages

The total aggregate liability of SKYN to any user shall not exceed the total amount of credits purchased by that user in the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Privacy & Data

SKYN collects and processes personal data (including Steam profile information where applicable) solely to operate the platform, verify eligibility, and comply with legal obligations. Data is stored securely and never sold to third parties. By using SKYN you consent to this processing.

9. Modifications to Terms

SKYN reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
